Avaree's New Do

We finally took Avaree for a much needed haircut this evening. She hadn't had one in a LONG time! This is before:

The lady that cut it pulled back the front of her hair in a little knot and Miss Avaree loved it! (Daddy didn't! haha)
Gammy told her her haircut makes her look older, so later on Avaree said, "How old do I look? SIX?" She thinks she's something (as if you can't tell by the pics!)

Wish List Wednesday

I thought I'd participate in The Foster Family's Wish List Wednesday this week.
1. To feel better! (This would be the best thing!!)
2. A heating pad for my back.
3. One of these pillows.

99 days to go!

We're now down to double digits, 99 days!! (Hopefully a few less than that!) It's hard to believe that when we first found out our family would be growing we had 249 days ahead of us and now it's less than 100! See you soon Little Man!

25 weeks

Today we're 25 weeks and 3 days along! It's hard to believe that in 14 weeks Jace will [hopefully] be here! It's flying by now! I had the 1 hour glucose tolerance test last week and I passed!! Thank goodness, that was a huge relief! We also had a follow up ultrasound last week at 24 weeks to see if my placenta is moving up. It was low at my 18 week ultrasound so she wanted to check again in 6 weeks. It has moved up some, so that's good, and she wants to check it again in 6 weeks! I'm loving all these extra pics of our little boy that we're getting! He weighed 1 lb 9 oz so in 6 weeks he's gained a pound. He even had chubby little cheeks already! We are having a 4D ultrasound on March 20 so we'll get a little sneak peak at what Jace will look like. I'm so excited about that! Here's a fun little survey I've seen on lots of other blogs and I figured I'd do it this time...
Pregnancy: 25 wks 3 days
Weight Gain: down 7 lbs
Sleep: not great, I can't get comfortable and my hips hurt!

Feeling: Pretty good, if the coughing and runny nose will go away. My hips and lower back have been hurting
Movement: Little man moves ALL the time! He's very active and I love it! We've been able to see him from the outside for a few weeks.
Belly: It's poking out a little bit. I've been trying to figure out how I can have a 13" 1.5 lb baby hiding in there! No stretch marks, although I got none with Avaree either.
Next Appointment: Monday, March 8 at 27 wks

We moved in!

We've been super busy lately, we're all moved into our new house! We love it! Everything is pretty much unpacked (except for our closet) and we're getting settled in. It's so nice to have room for everything and Avaree is loving her playroom. We've just gotta work on her keeping it clean. She and I haven't felt good the past few days so that's slowed me down in getting our closet unpacked and organized. She stayed out of school for 2 days with a fever, coughing, runny nose, and sneezing. Her fever got up to 103.6! I don't think she's ever had one that high. The doctor just said it was viral and it would go away on its own. For once, her ears were clear! I guess the third set of tubes in her ears are doing their job, along with having no tonsils and adenoids. The fever is gone but she's still coughing. I haven't had a fever but I've been coughing, sneezing, and my nose has been pouring. YUCK! I will be so glad when we're both back to normal!

This is just what I need.

So I haven't been sleeping well at all. It's gotten a little better with the help of a regular body pillow, but can you imagine how great it would be with one of these??

23 Weeks

We're now 23 weeks and Jace is going crazy in there! Syrup already makes him bounce off the walls! He's constantly moving and kicking so Daddy and Avaree can feel him. Avaree loves it, she thinks it's so funny to try to feel him move. She already loves her baby brother sooo much. She's always hugging and kissing my belly. She says that Daddy is going to change all the poopy diapers and she and I will change all the wet diapers...haha...I doubt that will happen! I had an appointment with my midwife last week and everything is going good. I didn't gain anything in the past 4 weeks so I'm still down 7 pounds. She wasn't concerned and said the baby will get what he needs. I also have to go do the sugar test sometime in the next week or two. I dread doing that, I just hope it doesn't make me sick! Here's a pic of my belly from last week at 22 weeks. I don't think it's really gotten much bigger lately, I know it's coming though! And I don't think you can really tell I'm pregnant unless you know that I am...I just look fat! lol
We're moving in less than 2 weeks and we're getting really excited. We found the perfect house for us. It has 4 bedrooms and Avaree is excited to have a play room. We start cleaning it next week and then we'll start moving!! We're all so ready to get out of this tiny 2 bedroom apartment!
