Window Washer
Who knew that a water bottle and towel could keep Avaree busy for a few hours?? I wish I would've known this a long time ago! She decided to clean the sliding glass doors today and Jace enjoyed watching her!

Mother's Day
We all went to breakfast this morning for Mother's Day. James had to be at work at 11, so it was just the kids and me all afternoon. Avaree built me a heart vase at Lowe's yesterday and she also brought me a "plant" home from school. She accidentally watered it too much so her plant never grew, it was just mud. She was upset about it but I loved it anyway. She also brought this home, I really love it!

Royal Wedding
Avaree and I watched the Royal Wedding last week and she was so amazed! She told me she wants a wedding like that and that she wants to marry a prince. Then she says "What if there are no princes left when I'm ready to get married?" She's so funny! I told her she had plenty of time to find one!

Shrimp Fest Fun
On Sunday, the kids and I met Gail and her parents at the Shrimp Festival. This was the first time we were able to go this year. Usually we go to the parade and the fireworks but it was supposed to rain and Jace wasn't feeling well so we didn't make it. We enjoyed some yummy shrimp and had fun in the kids zone!
Avaree loved the bungee jump thing! She did this last year too. She was too scared to try turning flips!

11 Months
Happy 11 Months Big Boy!
My baby will be a toddler in one month. That just doesn't seem right. He's so big and looks so much like a big boy now. He's around 23 pounds and I'm sure he's grown at least an inch or two since his 9 month appointment. He's in size 12-18 month clothes and size 3 shoes. His diapers are still on the medium setting.
He is such a good natured baby, he makes us so happy! He has 4 teeth but he has 2 more on top that should break through any day now. Jace LOVES to eat! He wants his food AND whatever you've got on your plate! We haven't really found anything he doesn't like. He is completely off the bottle and only drinks out of a sippy. That was a really easy transition. He has 3 meals a day, and has a cup of milk at each meal. He also has snacks in between with either water or watered down juice.
Jace is constantly on the go. It's getting harder and harder to take pictures of him as he gets older. He isn't walking by himself yet but he does walk when you hold his hands. Sometimes he will even walk when you hold only one of his hands. He has to be in the mood though, if not he just plops down. He cruises and pulls up on everything. We've had to put up baby gates and confine him to the living room because he is into everything.
He's still sleeping well and goes to sleep on his own in his crib. He loves to play on our iPhones and the laptop. He is so loving--he loves to give hugs and kisses! He likes to dance and listen to music. He talks a lot and he is loud like his Daddy.
Jace is pretty much the best little boy ever! :)
