2 questions I get asked daily...

1. When will my baby brother be here?
[In June...I tell her all the birthdays and holidays between now and then that come first]

2. When are we going back to Disney World?
[I don't know...maybe next summer!]

A day does not go by that Avaree does not ask me these 2 questions. I guess she thinks the answers will change! lol

It's a BOY!

As of yesterday, we are 19 weeks pregnant. I can't believe we're almost halfway there! I've been feeling pretty good. I was sick at first but that went away around 11-12 weeks. I had lost 10 pounds at my 14 week appointment, and now I've gained back 3. Last week we found out we're having a baby boy! We're all so excited. I just knew we were having a girl so I was shocked to find out he was a boy. We decided on a name before we even got pregnant: Jace William. Avaree has my middle name and Jace will have James'. Jace looked perfect at the ultrasound, he was about 9 ounces and he even measured 3 days ahead. We'll get to see him again in 5 weeks and I can't wait! Jace has been moving around quite a bit lately. I started feeling him around 12 weeks (sounds really early but they say it happens sooner with the 2nd pregnancy) but it's much more prominent and frequent now. James even felt him kick for the first time last Thursday at 18 weeks 3 days!!

It's sunk in now that we are having a boy but it is still really weird to look at boy things. All I've looked at for the past 5 years is girl's! I haven't had a problem with finding lots of cute things though, we've already bought several outfits, blankets, and other fun things! We picked out the bedding we would get if we had a boy before we got pregnant (lol) and we ordered it the night we found out. It came in this past weekend and I love it!

2009 In Review

2009 was a big year for us...

January
On January 2, James and I got married! This started out our wonderful year!

We went to an Easter egg hunt at Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Will's
May
May was full of fun!
On May 1, we went to see Kellie Pickler and Taylor Swift. This was Avaree's second Taylor concert and my third. She LOVES Taylor!
May 18-22 we took a family vacation to Disney World! It rained the whole week but we had a blast!

July

In July, we finally got the papers filed for James to adopt Avaree. We also wound up in the hospital with a virus.

August

Avaree turned 4! She had a Hawaiian Barbie Party/Luau. She also started Pre-K!September

James' birthday. We also found out we would be having a niece or nephew (and a cousin for Avaree!) in May! Stephanie and Will are expecting.

October

Another big month for us! We found out we were expecting on October 1, had our first ultrasound on October 20, and got our due date of June 7, 2010!Also, the adoption was final (finally!) on October 27. Avaree is officially a Lunt!

Avaree was a cute little witch for Halloween!

November

We had our 1st trimester screen and everything looked great! All our family came down for a great Thanksgiving and lots of Black Friday shopping!

December

Found out Stephanie and Will are having a baby BOY! Christmas was great. Santa was good to Avaree!

The Beginning

After pondering it over for a while, I've finally decided to start a blog! There are several that I love reading and I thought this would be a fun way for family and friends to keep up with what's going on in our lives. It's mainly for me though. I'm so bad at writing things down that I want to remember and I thought this would be easier. We've had a lot going on lately and it looks like 2010 will be even busier!
