My sister, Jennifer, spent the night with us Friday night so she'd be here to prepare for my baby shower on Saturday (I'll post about that later). She slept with Avaree in her room. Saturday morning, Avaree gasped (and woke Jennifer up), she sat up and Aunt Jenn asked her what was wrong. She told her that she had a bad dream; she went to Kindergarten and she didn't have a pencil, and the teacher wouldn't give her one. And then, her Daddy didn't pick her up from school!
Poor girl, already worried about Kindergarten!

Kindergarten!
Last Friday, Avaree and I went to the Primary School and got her registered for Kindergarten! It was a fun morning with LOTS of other parents and kids going into Kindergarten. We started out in the cafeteria where Avaree got to go through the lunch line for a little snack, she chose apple juice and string cheese. We had a meeting and then we went on a tour of the school. We got to check out a kindergarten classroom, the library, playground, and the computer lab. We also got to go on a school bus ride! Avaree loved that (although she will not be riding the bus). School buses sure have come a long way since I rode the bus back in middle school. They now have air conditioning and seat belts! Here's Avaree on the bus:
Right now, Avaree is really excited about going to big school. She said she wishes she already went there. I hope she doesn't change her mind in the next few months! It's hard to believe that my baby girl will be in kindergarten soon. Her first day is August 23rd, so she'll still be 4 for a few days when she starts. I'm sure she'll do fine. The only thing I'm worried about is her spending too much money at lunch everyday. They usually have two main entree choices and I can see her trying to get some of everything and using her money for the week in just a couple of days!!

32 Weeks
The countdown is on! Only 8 weeks left! Not much longer now and we're all getting more and more excited! My appointment last week went well. I got my Rhogam shot since I'm RH- and it wasn't so bad. Avaree thought it was funny that Mama had to get a shot in her butt! (Well, hip really)

Weight Gain: At my appointment last week I had gained 2 pounds, so I'm now down 3 pounds from my starting weight.
Sleep: I toss and turn and can't get comfy AT ALL.
Gender: BOY!
Name: Jace William
Feeling: Pretty good, feels like I have a bruised rib though. There's constant pain there, even if his little butt isn't resting there.
Movement: He's slowed down quite a bit. He shifts around a lot. I don't really feel many kicks and jabs anymore. He's still getting hiccups quite a bit.
Belly: Getting bigger. I think it's really grown in the past week or 2.
Next Appointment: April 22 at 33 weeks 3 days

Easter!
We had a great Easter this year! I was off on Good Friday, so Avaree and I colored eggs. She loved it, and she loved her glittery eggs!
Sunday morning we woke up early to go to the Sunrise Service on the beach with Gammy and Grandaddy (James had to be at work at 7 that morning). We left the house at 6:20 and were on the beach before the sun came up. It was really nice out there and it was a great service.
After that, she and I came home and watched Princess & The Frog and Barbie in A Mermaid Tale. The Easter Bunny brought both of those to her in her basket. I fell asleep on both of them but she loved them both, although she had already seen Princess & The Frog at school. We spent the afternoon at the beach with Gammy then went over to Gammy and Grandaddy's for dinner. Jennifer and Justin came up to enjoy Easter dinner with us. Uncle Justin hid eggs for Avaree and she had a blast hunting them!

Follow-up Ultrasound
Our follow-up was this morning to check on the location of my placenta. I am happy to say that it has moved up and is out of the way! NO previa!! It's been marginal/low-lying the past 2 ultrasounds so I'm really glad it's moved! So that means hopefully no c-section!
Little Jace now weighs 3 pounds 8 ounces, so he's right on track. His heart rate was 155 and he had the hiccups when we tried to listen to his heartbeat. He has hair and he's in the right position, head down and face down. What I've been feeling constantly in my ribs is his butt and a pair of heels! It hurts!
Here are pics from today, and I've also updated this post with the 24 week ultrasound pics. (I finally hooked our printer/scanner back up from where we moved!

30 Weeks!
It's hard to believe this pregnancy is 75% done! Wow! 30 weeks down, 10 to go! My belly has really grown in the past week or 2. It should have though because Jace should be weighing over 3 pounds. We'll find out how big he really is in the morning at our ultrasound! Here's my belly today. Excuse the awful pic, we've been outside cleaning out the garage!
Pregnancy: 30 weeks
Weight Gain: down 5 lbs (as of last appointment, I'm sure I've broke even now!)
Sleep: Can't really get comfortable
Gender: BOY!
