We had a nice Valentine's Day today. Avaree took monkey tattoo cards to school for her class today and they had a little party. After dinner, we gave the kids their gifts for Valentine's Day.
Avaree got a new bicycle. She's outgrown her other one, but she still has to learn to ride without training wheels. We normally don't do big gifts like that for the smaller holidays, but I got an awesome deal on it and couldn't pass it up.
Jace got a
Baby Sam doll. Yes, it's a baby doll, but it's a boy. He gets into Avaree's dolls, so I figure it's better for him to play with a boy doll than a girl doll. Plus, girls play with dolls to pretend being Mommy, so why can't boys pretend to be a Daddy? Baby Sam is super cute Jace loves to take his paci away.
Hopefully James and I will be going to dinner one night this week to celebrate Valentine's Day.
